Andrew Rogers is a Detroit native living in Fenton, Mi. He’s one of the organists at the Michigan Theatre in Ann Arbor and the Detroit Fox, scores and performs silent films, and gives concerts throughout the U.S. and Internationally. He’s also been channeling meditative music since the ’70′s and has been past President of Spiritual Frontiers in Grand Rapids. It was in 2003 when Fr. Andrew was invited to play for a public meditation for His Holiness Gayuna Cealo, a Burmese Buddhist Monk. The music so moved Cealo, that he asked Andrew to create two meditation CD’s for the Foundation of Global Harmony. He has performed at the Foundation’s Heart Expos in Japan in ’04 and ’07, traveled to Myanmar in ’05, performed at the 11/11/11 ceremony in Japan, and was a member of the Global Harmony Band.
